欧阳端 Duan Ouyang b.1993, China
Duan Ouyang, a 2015 graduate of School of Innovation, Art Design Department at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art (GAFA).
She embarked on a freelance journey from 2016 to 2018.Expressing human structures, abstract figures, as well as personal emotions, is her main subject. Her dark and stylized illustrations earned her a place at the Singularity Plan Art Festival in 2017, one of the most popular illustration and comic art exhibitions for young generation in China today. Since then, she has collaborated with fashion brands, an NGO group, and the Chinese Rock music festival "MIDI" in workshops and commercial projects.
In 2019, she joined V Studio as a member, where she primarily focuses on researching parametric design of installations and code-generated art for visual expressions. She has completed several successful commercial projects and public art exhibitions, gaining valuable experience in interactive new-media art and public art. She has worked with notable artists such as Cyril Lancelin and Julius Horsthuis, as well as various brand clients, including the popular Chinese sci-fi hit IP Three-Body Problem and Japan's teamLab.
Since 2022, she has continued her creative work by combining her previous accumulated experience with a variety of AI tools and generative art in the direction of 2D, 3D and even animation generation, under the impact of the AI wave.
